Our aim is to create a research and innovation ecosystem that will address the toughest challenges of our times. Research areas include future of mobility, smart agriculture, affordable health systems, sustainable urban systems and water-food-energy nexus.

Centre for Clean Energy
Centre for creating qualified energy experts, supporting energy innovation and research, developing energy entrepreneurs, and collaborating with the governments by participating in public-private energy projects.

Plaksha Entrepreneurship Support Program
Launched with the aim of encouraging entrepreneurship among Plaksha students as well as the broader community, the Center also provides a helpful environment for our Fellows to fully develop their business plans and aid the transition from 'student' to 'entrepreneur'.

Global Innovation Hub
Plaksha has signed an MoU with the Government of Punjab to set up a Global Innovation Hub in the Knowledge City, Mohali. Spread over 4 acres, the Innovation Hub will spur innovation and entrepreneurship in the area by attracting startups to the region.
