Sukrit obtained his PhD in Computer Science from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, where his work focused on studying the functional architecture of the human brain. His research broadly focuses on using computer science to study the functional and structural aspects of the brain. Specifically, he develops methods to study the brain in different states, viz. resting, during task performance and neuropsychiatric diseases.
He has also worked with researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (US), IASI-CNR, Rome (Italy), Carnegie Mellon University (US), Ben Gurion University of the Negev (Israel) and Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar.
